Neopets Restocking Guide

Restocking is hanging out in official Neopets shops, waiting to buy items to re-sell them in your own shop (or if you’re lucky, on the Trading Post)! Restocking seems complicated, but it’s actually quite simple! The only hard part is remembering what you should and shouldn’t buy. Restocking works by refreshing official Neopets shops, such as the Fresh Food Shop. When you see something you want to buy, click on it and type in your haggle. If you’re quick, the item is yours! Now you can put it into your shop to sell it.

WHERE ARE GOOD PLACES TO RESTOCK?
Honestly, wherever you like, really! Find shops that interest you. Do you like goodie bags? Check out the toy shop! Do you like plushies? The plushie shop has lots of nice items! There’s no real wrong answer. Just be aware that some shops have more bait items than others, and some (like Kauvara’s Magic Shop) move incredibly quickly, so would be better to tackle once you’re comfortable with restocking.

Shops like Kayla’s Potionery are excellent for new players because people with younger accounts can buy plenty of high-profit items because of their low rarity. Some shops (like Collectable Cards) are also slow to re-sell, so keep that in mind when choosing shops!

WOAH, DID YOU SAY SOMETHING ABOUT ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS!?
Yes, unfortunately, because of people breaking the rules, there are account age restrictions on restocking. If you look at your profile, you’ll see a shield saying how long you’ve been on the site.

Age of AccountRarities Visiable
Newbie≤ r79
10 Days≤ r84
16 Days≤ r89
1 Month≤ r94
3 Months≤ r100

HOW DO I NOT GET RESTOCK BANNED?
It’s not really avoidable, but it helps to slow down your refreshing. 3-5 seconds is a generally good rule to keep in mind!

WHERE DID ALL THE ITEMS IN THE SHOPS GO?
They cleared! The shops clear out their stock periodically, which is great because it means a whole new chance at rare items! Keep refreshing until they stock, but not TOO often! Don’t want to get a restock ban and miss it.

THE SHOPS SAY THEY RESTOCK EVERY 8 MINUTES, BUT THEY HAVEN’T RESTOCKED IN A WHILE! WHAT GIVES?
I’m sorry to say, but those shopkeepers are dirty liars and you should ignore them. A while back, shops functioned differently than they do now (they didn’t fully clear), and when they changed how the system worked, they never updated the text. Inventory can come back within a matter of seconds, or go several clear cycles without stocking.

WHAT’S ALL THIS TERMINOLOGY I SEE IN THE RESTOCK & CHAT THREAD?

PhraseMeaning
SWIShop with inventory/items. These are shops that have stock in them after a clear. People will also ask for this when they are restock banned so they can check on the status of their ban.
ClearPeriodically, the shops will clear themselves of all stock. Get ready for them to stock for those sweet, sweet rare items!
UBUnbuyable. Something worth more Neopoints than they can be sold for in user shops (where the limit is 999,999).
r99Generally the holy grail of RSing. High item rarity, often worth a lot of NP.
JunkedThe shop didn’t stock anything of real value. Whoops!
ETSEasy to sell. Self-explanatory!
HTSHard to sell. Sometimes, stuff like cards are a bit harder to sell because of a smaller pool of people wanting/needing them.
BaitAn item that sells for less than it restocks for. Generally used for an item that looks like it should be worth a lot (such as the Pirate Draik MP).
RSRestock/Restocker/Restocking/Restocked.
MHMishaggled. When a restocker messed up their offer and most likely missed the chance of purchasing the item.
GHGot Haggled. The shopkeeper disapproved your offer and asked for another offer to their liking, but it’s probably too late to purchase by then.
NHNo Haggle. You didn’t even get the chance to buy it.
TPTrading post. The place to sell items for up to 2 million Neopoints. Users will also list higher-value items here to be placed into a Neofriends-only auction to sell.
AucsAuction House. The place to sell items over the Trading Post’s 2 million Neopoint limit. Transactions will take 1 hour at the least.
SW/SSWShop Wizard/Super Shop Wizard. Super Shop Wizard is a Premium feature that will guarantee you the lowest price of an item in a usershop (if there are any available).
BMBBlack Market Goods Boon. It’s an Obelisk Boon that will reveal certain items to be restocked to those who have the boon. More information about the boon and the items included can be found at /~Delnia.
HPDHalf Price Day. On every 3rd day of the month, all items in neopian shops are sold for half their normal price.

GUIDELINES

▸ Beginner Friendly?: My personal insight if the shop is approachable for beginner restockers or not.
▸ Carry: This number is about how much NP you should have on hand if you don’t want to miss something (Due to lack of NPs).
▸ Numbers/Profit: Buy the items that stock for the given amounts. (Exactly the given amounts. If it says 5k, it means 5000. Exactly 5000. 5029? No).
▸ Speed: This is how fast the shop goes (how quickly profitable items disappear) This is usually in proportion to the amount of people in that shop.
▸ Sellability: This shows how easily you can sell an item purchased in this shop.
– ETS = Easy To Sell
– HTS = Hard To Sell
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Some shops might have a lot more goodies than I can list! You should always check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent notable visual.
▸ My Comments: Something I (Chips) have to say about this shop.

The Order (in which to go for things):
1. If you see one of these, go for it first.
2. If you don’t see anything mentioned in (1), go for things here.
3. If you don’t see anything mentioned in (1) or (2), go for these and so on.

★ Battledome Equipment

Battle Magic – Defense Magic – Space Weaponry – Space Armor – Ice Crystals
Tyrannian Weaponry – Sakhmet Battle Supplies – Haunted Weaponry – Brightvale Scrolls
Brightvale Armoury – Maractite Weaponry – Faerie Weaponry
Altador Armoury – Magical Marvels – Wonderous Weaponry

★ Battle/Defense Magic are the core BD shops. ★
★ Battledome Equipment are generally HTS unless they’re good or particularly popular in 2P-BD. ★
★ Battledome Equipment shops overall are not beginner friendly. ★

9. Battle Magic

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No.
▸ Carry: 300k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Research which items are good in the BD. Anything that stocks in 1s and is in the price range of 60k~100k is probably r99.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: Varies, commonly HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are a number of unlisted r99s here for considerable profit. r99 Battle Magic Items are prone to fluctuate, so double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history.
▸ My Comments: Battle Magic isn’t the same as it used to be and prices are more misleading than ever. Highland Chia stuff is bad. On a positive note there has been an increased liking for 2P Battling over the last few years. Faerie Tokens, species freezers, and (of course) Bony Grarrl Club (BGC) are still great!

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

10. Defense Magic

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No.
▸ Carry: 500k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Pretty much the same rules as for Battle Magic, but there are the “Full -petname- Armour”s that stock here rather frequently. 50% pet healers are good too. Basically, all those things that stock for around 80k~110k are very good.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: Varies, commonly HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are a number of unlisted r99s here for considerable profit. r99 Defense Magic Items are prone to fluctuate, so double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history.
▸ My Comments: Pretty much the same as Battle Magic: Misleading prices in researching beforehand is best, Highland Chia stuff is bad, some 2P liking, look at restocker screenies. TTear, Rainbow/Purple SS, Big Reflectors are still great!

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

23. Space Weaponry

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial.
▸ Carry: 100k
▸ Numbers/Profit: r99 weapons that stock here are also okay, but pretty low in profit.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Commonly HTS. Neocola Tokens are ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Neocola Tokens are profitable items now, so that’s neat.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

24. Space Armour

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but not really.
▸ Carry: 100k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Semi-high profit, but mostly HTS r99s.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Commonly HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: It’s not a shop I would personally RS directly, but I’d say it’s a decent shop to keep as a SWI reference.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

36. Ice Crystals

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Not really.
▸ Carry: 120k
▸ Numbers/Profit: This shop is crowded mainly for the notorious Freezing Potion (100k). However, this is not the only profitable item. There are a couple others, see the highlights below.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Freezing Potion is the best item and Icy Snowflake is wanted for the Avatar. Bag of Infinite Puce (Ice Crystal) and Stone Drawer (Tyrannian Furniture) are presumably still glitched and will not restock despite their rarity and origin.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

45. Tyrannian Weaponry

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but sorta yeah.
▸ Carry: 100k.
▸ Numbers/Profit: There’s a quite a number of r99s, but you’re probably only here for Turned Tooth. Turned Tooth restocks around 33k and is very ETS.
▸ Speed: Above Average.
▸ Sellability: Everything except Turned Tooth is commonly HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Tyrannian Weaponry can be considered as an introductory shop towards Battle Magic/Defense Magic (BM/DM). Turned Tooth is commonly used for 1P battling for its reasonably affordable price/power rate (and is still okay profit despite the introduction of Void Blade). Lava Arrow is hard bait.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

54. Sakhmet Battle Supplies

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No.
▸ Carry: 150k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Quite a few and the good items here range from 10k-100k, usually 30k-70k.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: TBH I wouldn’t start here, because all profitable items are low return HTS r99s.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

59. Haunted Weaponry

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Not really.
▸ Carry: 550k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Quite a few things, see the highlights.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Commonly HTS. Cursed Elixir is ETS, but it usually a loss.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Tons of trap items.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

78. Brightvale Scrolls

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No…
▸ Carry: 150k
▸ Numbers/Profit: You’re only here to haggle down Greater Healing Scroll.
▸ Speed: Below Average.
▸ Sellability: Greater Healing Scroll (90k-110k) is ETS, but like that’s a lot haggling my guy.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Don’t go here for profit unless there’s a Battle Event and people are fighting for Scroll of Freezing and Greater Healing Scrolls. This is worth the mention, because a lot of seasoned BDers recommend Greater Healing Scroll even though Wonderous Weaponry’s Helm of Recovery does the same thing. IT’S JUST MORE NOSTALGIC AND ICONIC

Highlights:
(The Only Worthwhile Item)

80. Brightvale Armoury

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No.
▸ Carry: 200k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Three big items and a couple of casuals on the side that are all (or somewhat) ETS. Heavy Blue Tunic restocks around 120k, Crisp Blue Tunic is 80k, and Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic is 125k.
▸ Speed: Above Average.
▸ Sellability: Slightly ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: There are a few very high profitable items here.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

87. Maractite Weaponry

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No.
▸ Carry: 120k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Maractite Dimensional Trap restocks for about 55-65k.
▸ Speed: Below Average.
▸ Sellability: HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: TBH I wouldn’t start here, because all profitable items are low return HTS r99s aside from Maractite Dimensional Trap. People are only restocking here for that.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

93. Faerie Weaponry

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Not really.
▸ Carry: 440k.
▸ Numbers/Profit: See the highlights. If you want the Bow of the Water Faerie, otherwise 200k.
▸ Speed: Below Average.
▸ Sellability: Commonly HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Discount Battle/Defense Magic.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

94. Altador Armoury

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Not really.
▸ Carry: 150k
▸ Numbers/Profit: All items are usually under 60k, but HTS.
▸ Speed: Below Average.
▸ Sellability: HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Altadorian Swordbreaker is a BD favorite even though there really hasn’t been a real use for it in the longest time.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

96. Magical Marvels

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No.
▸ Carry: 200k
▸ Numbers/Profit: You’re only here for Bag of Healing Dust (restocks around 100k).
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: Bag of Healing Dust is ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Just get Feel Better Soup instead.

Highlights:
(The Only Profitable Item)

100. Wonderous Weaponry

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Not really.
▸ Carry: 100k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Same reason with Greater Healing Scroll for Helm of Recovery. Helm of Recovery is like 90k, so you’d want to haggle that down and you’ve got time to do so. Shuriken restocks for 10k.
▸ Speed: Very Slow.
▸ Sellability: HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: This place is probably more like my favorite SWI tbh.

★ Books

Magical Book Shop – Faerie Book Store – Sutek’s Scrolls – Booktastic Books – Brightvale Books
Qasalan Tablets – Neovia’s Printing Press – Moltaran Books

★ Magical Book Shop and Booktastic Books are the core Books shops. ★
★ Books are generally HTS and not always significantly profitable. ★
★ The Water Faerie will ask for Books that are r69 and under from the Magical Book Shop. ★
★ Book shops overall are in the middle of being beginner friendly. ★

7. Magical Book Shop

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Yes.
▸ Carry: 30k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Look for books stocking at 10k, 5k, 2.5k they are almost always profitable.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are a LOT of unlisted high rarity items here for a considerable profit. Most of the unlisted high rarity Magical Book items are r90-99s, so double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history.
▸ My Comments: Fantastic for beginners. Be fast. The moment it RSes, be sure to find the 10k, 5k, and 2.5k items and buy them. ALWAYS read the news to see what’s new, and if you get one of the first, you can sell it for a high price before it deflates.

The Order:
1. Books that stock above 20K and 10k books.
2. 5k Books.
3. 2.5k Books.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

38. Faerie Book Store

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial.
▸ Carry: 40k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Fountain of Youth restocks for 10k.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Possibly, Make Your Own Faerie Gift Baskets and Building Igloos with Taelia might be okay, but there might be a very low profit difference (or random inflation).
▸ My Comments: The majority of the books here are bait.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

51. Sutek’s Scrolls

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial.
▸ Carry: 80k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Heaps! Your highlights range from 10k-30k.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Slightly ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: The Stat Boosting scrolls are very ETS.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

70. Booktastic Books

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Yes.
▸ Carry: 100k
▸ Numbers/Profit: 2.5k, 5k, 10k, 25k but there are also a few that go in between like 6k and 15k. There are ten r100s here. Those are good, obviously. The other r97+ can often be sold for quite a few million.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes and honestly, this shop is pretty amazing during HPD if you’re into a ton of small profits. There might be the occasional randomly inflated item here.
▸ My Comments: Booktastic Books are more ETS than regular books, because the reading award is more achievable in a sense. Some people just love clearing through a single usershop of these.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

77. Brightvale Books

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but not really.
▸ Carry: 30k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Alchemy Lessons restocks for around 13k and Waking the Draik is 25k.
▸ Speed: Slow.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: The majority of the books here are bait. It’s like worse than Faerie Book Shop.

▸ Carry: 100k
▸ Numbers/Profit: The Pyramid Tablets restocks for 10k.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: This shop is boring.

106. Neovian Printing Press

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial.
▸ Carry: 20k
▸ Numbers/Profit: The r99s go for 25k to 30k to 40k.
▸ Speed: Slow.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: BE WARNED: THE VAST MAJORITY IS BAIT HERE

114. Moltaran Books

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Yes.
▸ Carry: 40k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Locating Iron restocks for 30k and How to Get Past the Guard is 50k. The other big profitable items are 15k-20k.
▸ Speed: Slow.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: I want to say a lot of people will purchase even the bait from this shop for the sake of accomplishment that they read all the books from one shop.

★ Collectables

Collectable Cards – Neopian Post Office – Collectable Coins – Collectable Sea Shells

★ Collectable Cards and Neopian Post Office are the core Collectable shops. ★
★ All these shops have high competition, but they do have an immense amount of profitable items. ★
★ The Light Faerie will ask for Cards that are r69 and under from the Collectable Card Shop. ★
★ Collectables shops overall are NOT beginner friendly. ★

8. Collectable Cards

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Yes.
▸ Carry: 200k for Swamp Ghoul, but if not then just bring 100k for everything else.
▸ Numbers/Profit: It’s fairly easy to recognize profitable items in this shop, because they pretty much all look the same, except for color differences. This will be explained later.
▸ Speed: Above Average.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, I guess so?!? Double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history for the items listed here.
▸ My Comments: Although you should buy based on color, it’s always a plus to go for the avatar cards. Everything will sell eventually in reasonable pace, because collectables are just like that.

The Order:
The order to go for things is simple. Just go from rarest to most common, according to the chart below. Exceptions are cards that linger and stock too much.

0. If you ever see a holographic card, then grab it QUICK. All r100s which are notoriously rare.
1. Yellow is r91 and above. Ghoul Catchers, Princess Vyssa, King Roo, Stan the Kyrii, Kreai, The Brain Tree, The Great Blurendo, Krawk card, Princess Sankara, Guardian of Ice Magic, Garrox5 The Grundo Trooper, and Korosu Crestscar are bait.
2. Blue and Reds are common Light Faerie Quest Items. Fire Paw and Kasuki Lu are notable.

58. Neopian Post Office

▸ Beginner Friendly?: NO, AVOID.
▸ Carry: 150k for Grimtooth Stamp, but if not then just bring 70k for everything else.
▸ Numbers/Profit: 5k, 10k, 10k+. Misprinted, Holographic, and other rare stamps are good.
▸ Speed: Very Fast.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are a LOT of unlisted high rarity items here for a considerable profit. You would want to know the r90-99s, so double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history.
▸ My Comments: Lots (and I mean lots) of VERY profitable items here. This is home to the most experienced and fastest RSers. This is the place to be on HPD. There are many items here that are worth over 3mil or so. Research full album pages and go for stamps that are on the bottom row.

▸ Carry: 100k
▸ Numbers/Profit: 5k to 10k.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Possibly yes, there might be a couple of unlisted high rarity items here for a considerable profit. There are some items here that have strange to extreme price fluctuations, so double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history.
▸ My Comments: Coins can be considered an introductory shop towards Stamp, but both have steady competition from the same restocking audience. Large Black Collectable Scarab, Scowling Sloth Coin, and Smiling Space Faerie Coin are your main big ticket items here. Neopian Times Coin and Emerald Eyrie Coin are AMAZING, but being r100s and seeing them ever is abysmal.

86. Collectable Sea Shells

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No.
▸ Carry: 200k for Choker of the Deep, but if not then just bring 50k for everything else.
There are some items here that have strange to extreme price fluctuations (Exquisite Peophin Ring of the Deep and Large Maractite Coin really), so double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history.
▸ My Comments: Shells can be considered an introductory shop towards Stamp, but both have steady competition from the same restocking audience. Golden Shell is your main big ticket item, because that’s the cheapest Stamp Album Avatar. Floral Maractite Coin and Choker of the Deep are good too I GUESS.

★ Varies on the shop, but Food overall are ETS in terms of profiting. ★
★ Food shops overall are beginner friendly. ★

1. Food Shop

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Yes.
▸ Carry: 40k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Go for all the 10k items and most 5k. Avoid most if not all the 2.5k items, no matter how cool they look. r90-r100 foods are gourmet foods.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are a LOT of unlisted low (Certain Neggs, Chocolate Ice Cream, etc.) and high rarity (Gourmet) foods here for a considerable profit, so double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history. Leaf Taco (r100) is also theoretically restockable, but I don’t want to list that lol.
▸ My Comments: Great shop for beginners albeit it is quite fast! Neggs that reward Negg Points and Bag of Peanuts are the best items for newer accounts. If you mess up then they’ll be someone wanting to still buy low rarity foods for Kad Feeding (up to r95), Kitchen Quest (up to r89), etc.; the profit will just be low.

14. Chocolate Factory

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, not really.
▸ Carry: 100k for Sniddberry Meerca Gobstopper, but if not then just bring 50k for everything else.
▸ Numbers/Profit: 5k and 10k items.
▸ Speed: Above Average.
▸ Sellability: Slightly HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are more Candy items that are still okay (or randomly inflated). The items here are still considered to be slightly HTS (chepaer items are more ETS), so double-checking with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW is advised.
▸ My Comments: 5k and 10k items that stock will get you the Chocolate Avatar but due to that, the shop’s r90s can be bait if you’re restocking outside that. Also, Kads do not eat foods from here.

15. Bakery

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Yes.
▸ Carry: 50k
▸ Numbers/Profit: 5k and 10k items.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are more Bakery items that are still okay (or randomly inflated). The items here are still considered to be slightly HTS (chepaer items are more ETS), so double-checking with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW is advised.
▸ My Comments: If Food is too much competition for you then Bakery is more relaxed for casual restocking. Also, Kads do not eat foods from here.

16. Health Food

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but not really.
▸ Carry: 40k
▸ Numbers/Profit: 5k and 10k items.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are more Healthy Food items that are still okay (or randomly inflated). The items here are still considered to be average in sellability, so double-checking with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW is advised.
▸ My Comments: Cone-Shaped Cherry, Lemon, and Orange are the only good geometric fruit to mention.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

18. Smoothie Store

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Not really.
▸ Carry: 40k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Mega Honeyplume restocks around 8k, Large Sand is 16k, and the other two are 10k.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Sorta, but they’re the Soup Faerie items (r69 Smoothie items and under). Nothing else of high value.
▸ My Comments: You could try here for HPD, but there’s so much competition that’s not really worth it.

Highlights:

20. The Tropical Food Shop

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial.
▸ Carry: 40k for everything.
▸ Numbers/Profit: 10k and 40k items. Doughnutfruit, Tigersquashes, and Chokatos are great!
▸ Speed: Above Average.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are more Tropical Food items that are still okay (or randomly inflated). Simmered Tropical Fruit Bowl is a notable item falls under this category as it stocks at 3.5m. The items here are still considered to be average in sellability, so double-checking with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW is advised.
▸ My Comments: There’s a terrifyingly large amount of r9X range bait, but Doughnutfruit r99s a plenty!

22. Grundos Cafe

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but not really.
▸ Carry: 40k

▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Not many profitable items here, but there’s like three that are worth a lot.

Highlights:

30. Spooky Foods

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Yes.
▸ Carry: 50k
▸ Numbers/Profit: 5k and 10k items.
▸ Speed: Above Average.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are a couple of low rarity profitable items here. Disturbing Gelatin, Candy Skull, Elephante Trunk Stew, Carnivorous Carved Pumpkin, etc. tend to be okay, but r89 items and under tend to be volatile due to the Brain Tree. For higher rarity items, there’s nothing else notable unless they’re randomly inflated.
▸ My Comments: Snorkle Snouts is good for the avatar and with the rise of demand of Spooky Foods from the Brain Tree HST Avatar this shop is pretty great for beginner restocking nowadays.

34. Coffee Shop

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial.
▸ Carry: 50k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Coffee Service restocks around 25k while most of the other goodies restock at 10k.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Some ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Possibly, Mad Meepit Mocha and Borovan Service might be okay, but there might be a very low profit difference (or random inflation).
▸ My Comments: There’s more Coffee Galleries than Gourmet folks in terms of who’s buying stuff here. Also, Kads do not eat foods from here.

Highlights:

35. Slushies

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Parital.

37. Super Happy Icy Fun Snow Shop

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but not really.

▸ Speed: Above Average.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Possibly, Royal Ice Lolly and Ice Ice Cream might be okay, but there might be a very low profit difference (or random inflation).
▸ My Comments: Premium Perk spiked the price of Magical Chia Pops, but there’s also that RE I guess.

Highlights:
(Most Profitable)

39. Faerie Foods

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial.
▸ Carry: 30k.
▸ Numbers/Profit: Like nearly all the good items here are 10k exact. Faerie Queen Smoothie Bowl is most of the time bait at 760k to 920k NPs.
▸ Speed: Above Average.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Faerie Mushrooms are great. Home to a lot of kawaii aesthetic gallery items.

▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Possibly, Strawberry Flavoured Hot Dog, Honey Coated Hot Dog, and 14 Karat Baked Potato might be okay, but there might be a very low profit difference (or random inflation).
▸ My Comments: Apparently baked potatoes are considered hot dogs.

56. Merifoods

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but not really.
▸ Carry: 1.7m for the Darigan and Zombie Draik Egg, but if not then just bring 200k for everything else.
▸ Numbers/Profit: See the highlights. Basic Draik Egg colors and Ice are 5 digit haggles; and Island, Darigan, and Zombie are 6 digit haggles. The other items are 10k to 50k.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: Average.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Some Draik Eggs are bait now aside from HPD or just haggling a lot (Desert, Island, Basic Color except Red, etc). Also, Kads do eat foods from here, just not Draik Eggs.

Highlights:

62. Jelly Foods

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No.
▸ Carry: 20k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Floral Jelly is quite the expensive rarity and restocks around 12k.

▸ Sellability: Slightly HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Jelly World doesn’t exist.

▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there might be like a couple of more Gardening items that are still okay (or randomly inflated). The items here are still considered to be HTS, so double-checking with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW is advised.
▸ My Comments: Garden to a lot of weirdly priced r99s that only questers buy really. Since 2022, TNT has been releasing more wearables here, Prigpants & Swolthy, Tailors, and Cog’s Togs than at Uni’s Clothing.

★ The Earth Faerie will ask for Magic Items that are r69 and under from Kauvara’s Magic Shop. ★
★ Kaylas is beginner friendly, but the other two, Magic and BV Potions, are NOT beginner friendly. ★

2. Kauvara’s Magic Shop

▸ Beginner Friendly?: NO, AVOID.
▸ Carry If you just want the normal morphing potions, 100k-200k should do.
▸ Numbers/Profit: Don’t buy by stock cost, just buy all the MP’s except the ones noted below. Although 10k items are good in most shops, Magic is an exception.
▸ Speed: Very Fast.
▸ Sellability: ETS morphing potions are the limited edition species (Draik/Hissi/Krawk/Lutari) and expensive colours (Maractite/Stealth/Faerie) it depends on the popularity.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, but do know that this section is unique in that matter of listing the bait items to avoid. Everything listed below is high rarity bait and there might be more junk items (i.e. Lutari Healing Potion). The non-MP goodies to look out for are 8-bit Power-Up Potion, Kauvaras Potion, Strange Potion, Rainbow Swirly Potion, Christmas Magic Hat, Light Faerie Dust, Water Faerie Bubbles, and Flaming Torch. Ice Hissi MP, Pirate Krawk MP, and Chomby Staff are hard bait.
▸ My Comments: This is not the shop to start restocking in, you need to be very fast and know what to look for. There are other potions here that aren’t just morphing potions, some are profitable, some aren’t. Look for Kauvara’s Potion, Strange Potion, Rainbow Swirly Potion and things like Water Faerie Bubbles and Light Faerie Dust.

1. Morphing Potions of expensive colors (Plushie, Darigan, Faerie, Stealthy, Maractite) and Limited Edition Pet potions (Cybunny, Draik, Krawk, Lutari, Ruki). 8-bit Power-Up Potion, Kauvaras Potion, Strange Potion, and Rainbow Swirly Potion.
2. Morphing Potions of special colors (Striped, Split, Starry, Electric, etc). Christmas Magic Hat and Light Faerie Dust.
3. Basic color Morphing Potions. Although, not all basic color Morphing Potions are profitable. Water Faerie Bubbles and Flaming Torch.
4. Most Earth Faerie Quest items: Fire Jug, Magical Vial, Nanka Bottle, Starlight Potion, Steam Jug, and Steam of Light.

73. Kayla’s Potionery

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Yes.
▸ Carry: 100k
▸ Numbers/Profit: 10k items. Most Stat Boosters restock in bulk.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: Kaylas can be considered as an introductory shop towards Magic (Kauvara’s Magic Shop). Stat Boosters are very easy to sell with a large return making this shop quite enjoyable for beginners of all account ages.

83. Royal Potionery

▸ Beginner Friendly?: No.
▸ Carry: 200k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Leaded Elemental Vial (150k-175k) is the number one thing you need to go for.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: LEV is ETS, everything else is HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: This really should have been in the Battledome section, but like it has Potions in the name. In 1P-BD terms, Lightning in a Bottle is like a similar counterpart to Turned Tooth to have some specified audience of people wanting to purchase that every now and then.

★ Toys

Toy Shop – Usukiland – Plushie Palace

★ There is no core shop for the Toys section. Well maybe just Toy and Plushie. ★
★ Toy and Plushie have high competition, but they do have an immense amount of profitable items. ★
★ The Dark Faerie will ask for Toys that are r69 and under from the Toy Shop. ★
★ Varies on the shop, but Toy shops overall are average in terms of profiting. ★
★ Toy shops overall are in the middle of being beginner friendly. ★

3. Toy Shop

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but sorta yeah.
▸ Carry: 160k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Most Snowglobes, Faerie Dolls, Snowglobes, Quigukis, Goodie Bags, Stockings, Charms are good! Higher rarity items usually restock for 10k or 12k while most Goodie Bags RS under 5k.
▸ Speed: Very Fast.
▸ Sellability: Slightly HTS, but Goodie Bags and Charms are ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are a LOT of unlisted high and low rarity items here for a considerable profit. Most if not all of the profitable low rarity items are openable items (Goodie Bags, Stockings, etc.). The profitable r90-99 items may vary, but you would want to know the other charms, Faerie items, non-Faerie/Quiguki r99s, etc., so double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history.
▸ My Comments: Jhuidah Faerie Doll is hard bait. New toys are sometimes worth picking up, since they’re like the only thing TNT is releasing aside from wearables. It’s really up to you to take that chance. Also, Broken Toys are HTS, so don’t unironically break them for profit. Additional note: Lord Kass Quiguki is also an r100 here, but they may or may not restock anymore, so there’s that for a heads up, because I don’t want to make a 7th row.

48. Usukiland

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Not really.
▸ Carry: 150k.
▸ Numbers/Profit: 10k items, Faerie Usukis, and Reject Usukis that stock 90k are decent.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: HTS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there might be like a couple of more Usukiland items that are still okay (or randomly inflated). The items here are still considered to be HTS, so double-checking with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW is advised.
▸ My Comments: All Usukiland items look the same to me.

98. Plushie Palace

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial.
▸ Carry: 200k
▸ Numbers/Profit: 10k and 20k+ Plushies, NQ, MSSP, and Magical Plushies tend to be great.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: Slightly ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, there are a LOT of unlisted high rarity items here for a considerable profit. Most of the unlisted high rarity Toy items are r95-99s, so double-check with Jellyneo’s Item Database and/or SSW for a more recent price history.
▸ My Comments: Angel Kiko Plushie is hard bait. Zafara Double Agent Plushie restocks here.

★ Wearables

Uni’s Clothing – Prigpants & Swolthy, Tailors – Mystical Surroundings
Cog’s Togs – Ugga Shinies

★ Uni’s Clothing is the core Wearables shops. ★
★ Wearables are generally ETS. Non-wearable clothing are HTS. ★
★ The Fire Faerie will ask for Clothing Items r69 and under from Uni’s Clothing. ★
★ Wearable shops overall are in the middle of being beginner friendly. ★

4. Uni’s Clothing

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but sorta yeah.
▸ Carry: 100k
▸ Numbers/Profit: 5k to 10k. Some can be like 8k and 12k too. It is best to do extra research on JN or chatting with other Clothes RSers on what is good here.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: Varies on species and clothing set, but mostly ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes, see below.
▸ My Comments: This is my favorite shop, but it also can be considered one of the most complicated shops there is. My advice is that you’d want to research what species are popular (Aisha, Draik, Lupe, etc) and not (Ogrin, Techo, Tonu, etc). This is the shop that probably gets the most new releases nowadays, so I would check the New Features for COOL AND NEW things to grab. Also, all the r99s except for Shoyru Pink Aviator Jacket are Petpet Shirts that restock in the top row.

The Order:
1. Popular species (Aisha, Draik, Lupe, etc.) clothing, r99 Petpet Shirts and Shoyru Pink Aviator Jacket, high rarity all species wearables (Steel Nails, 3D Glasses, etc.), and newer wearables (Pretty Net Dress, Illusen Umbrella Cut Dress, and species are hit or miss).
2. Faerie Wings, School Girl Clothing, and Fance Top.
3. Golden Maraquan Trident, Maraquan Fin Wings, Blue Wocky Costume, and Fancy Black Belt.

107. Prigpants & Swolthy, Tailors

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but not really.
▸ Carry: 30k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Wad of Neocash Handheld restocks at 15-18k, but best restock here during HPD tbh.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes.
▸ My Comments: Since 2022, TNT has been releasing more wearables here, Cog’s Togs, and Gardening Supplies than at Uni’s Clothing. Most items here are not profitable due to the Clarence Chichester Coggeshale Random Event.

108. Mystical Surroundings

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but not really.
▸ Carry: 30k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Creepy Darigan restocks for 15k, Petpet Trainer is 10k, and Underwater is 5k. The Boon items are around 2.5k to 20k.
▸ Speed: Average.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: I only restock here during BMB, but Underwater BGs are very ETS.

111. Cog’s Togs

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but not really.
▸ Carry: 30k
▸ Numbers/Profit: Bomber Jacket restocks for 12k and the Guitar is 20k.
▸ Speed: Fast.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: Yes.
▸ My Comments: Since 2022, TNT has been releasing more wearables here, Prigpants & Swolthy, Tailors, and Gardening Supplies than at Uni’s Clothing. Elegant Punk Guitar is your big item of the shop.

117. Ugga Shinies

▸ Beginner Friendly?: Partial, but sorta yeah.
▸ Carry: 30k
▸ Numbers/Profit: You might have to haggle some things down, but you’ll definitely have enough time to do so. Thicket of Flowers restocks for 13k.
▸ Speed: Below Average.
▸ Sellability: ETS.
▸ Any Unlisted/Additional Notable Items?: No.
▸ My Comments: The profit is really low, but it does sell fast. Great place for HPD.

★ FAQ

▸ Why is there like nothing good? How long does it take for X appear?
Restocks and clears are all random.

Restocking is all about having patience for shops to restock, being quick enough to make the haggle, and then having the patience again to sell. It can take minutes to hours for shops to restock/clear and it’s completely up to chance if specific items appear at all (the higher the rarity index, the rarer the item). Most of the time shops will stock nothing but junk but that won’t stop us from trying!

Also, if your account is younger than 3 months, you might have some restocking restrictions:

Age of AccountRarities Visible
Newbie≤ r79
10 Days≤ r84
16 Days≤ r89
1 Month≤ r94
3 Months≤ r100

▸ Why did all the items in the official shops just suddenly poof? AM I SHOP BANNED ALREADY
That’s what we call a Clear. Shops automatically “clear” out items at random intervals, so that new items can restock!

If you think there’s a clear or you’re shop banned, you can do the following:
A. Check other shops you wouldn’t normally visit for an SWI (Shop With Items).
B. If you had a shop tab open with stock before the clear, then try to buy an item. If it sends you to the haggle screen rather than a sold out screen, then you’re restock banned.
C. Ask other RSers for an SWI to verify if you’re restock banned or not.
D. Check on a side account for an SWI (DO NOT RESTOCK ON SIDE ACCOUNTS).

If you are shop banned, don’t worry it’s normal. They can last up to 24 hours if you’re really unlucky.

▸ So I just got unbanned like a minute ago, but I just got shop banned AGAIN? RUDE
There’s this kinda weird speculation that if you try to restock immediately after your shop ban, then you’re get shop banned again. Most seasoned RSers would say to wait awhile before RSing again.

Look at you, getting yourself shop banned all over again.border='0'

▸ I JUST WANT THE CHOCOLATE AV!?! GIVE PLS????
I’m sure there’s people on the Restock & Chat Threads that are kindly willing to announce some junk r90s chocolates if you ask politely. You still gotta be fast though.

Oh we’re bad, bad r80s.
▸ Okay, so I restocked three Neggs, am I ready for Magic/Stamps now?
Probably not, but you can try if you have enough NP to be steady afterwards. Magic, Stamps, and other high competition shops can be rage inducing, so it’s best to try out the other lesser competitive shops first. In Magic/Stamps, go prepare to be constantly disappointed in yourself.

▸ How long does it take X to sell? I WANT MY NEOPOINTS AND I WANT IT NOW
Things don’t sell instantly, so have patience. Even if you’re currently the lowest, you might need to reprice after a few days.

i am undercut EVERYBODY
▸ Can I sell items on side accounts?
TL;DR: NO. YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO SELL ITEMS ON YOUR SIDE ACCOUNT.

Neopets Editorial – Issue 701 | Question 3 [link]
Hi! *surrounds you with meepits* I was wondering… if somebody restocks an items on their main, can they sell it on their side? I figured it would be all right since they didn’t restock on their side, but I wanted to check. Thanks! *cages up meepits again* ~ joy3111
Hi, let’s not get crazy here, okay? Good Meepits. Now, on to your question! No, you cannot sell items on your side account, even if you bought them on your main. You are not allowed to do anything that earns Neopoints on your side accounts, so selling items from a side is not allowed.

▸ I got shop banned on my main. Can I restock on side accounts?
TL;DR: NO. YOU WILL BE FROZEN FOR RESTOCKING ON SIDE ACCOUNTS.

Neopets Editorial – Issue 221 | Question 2 [link]
Let’s say you get restock banned on your main account. Can you use a side account to restock and transfer the items to your main accounts, as long as you don’t get freebies or play games? ~ xo_dearjamie
Umm, no. You’re restock banned for a reason. Using another account to bypass that ban is cheating. You’ll have to wait until it’s over before you can restock again.

You just have one shot at this pretty sword!

▸ Am I allowed to block certain junk items/item images from appearing on my screen in order to make it easier to see profitable items?
TL;DR: NO. THAT IS CONSIDERED CHEATING.

Neopets Editorial – Issue 275 | Question 10 [link]
I have recently noticed many restockers get iced. When restocking if you have JS disabled is that considered cheating? ~zlqqlz
Yes, disabling JS or images while restocking is considered giving yourself an unfair advantage over other players, and is not allowed. Even though it’s a browser function and not a 3rd party cheat, it’s still not allowed. Just like opening 100 window tabs and hitting “refresh all” trying to get Random Events will get you frozen faster than you can say, “Geraptiku” (or figure out how to pronounce it; one or the other). Don’t get paranoid, though! If you don’t know if you disabled JS, you most likely haven’t. This question probably doesn’t apply to 99.87% of you, so don’t fret about it if you have no idea what we’re blithering about here.

Just leave the java(script) alone!

▸ Is there like some sort of order items restock at?
Items restock based on their release. You will always see the newer items in the bottom row and the oldest items in the top row.

▸ Do r100s even restock?
Theoretically they do, but the method of obtaining the haggle screen bugged. :C

Y’all were gonna yell at me if I didn’t include EEC
▸ Do Shops restock/clear at a certain time? I read that they used to.
They used to, but shops do not restock nor clear at specific times anymore.

▸ If I buy out a shop, will it restock faster?
No, you’ll just end wasting a bunch of NP for junk.

▸ How do I sell items worth over Shop Wizard’s limit?
Trading Post (2m max) and Auctions (50m + 50m increment) are there for that.

Heyo howdy!
▸ Does Neopian Inflation is currently at X.XX% mean anything?
It factors into the estimated cost a shop stocks at an item at, but since that never changes it doesn’t matter anymore. It’s really just flavour text nowadays.
