Codestones: Currency for Training

To begin training, you’ll need red codestones. These are the currency for courses at the Secret Ninja Training School. To obtain red codestones, you can trade in tan codestones at Techo Mountain, buy them from other players via the Shop Wizard, or receive them as Battledome prizes. There are six different types of red codestones, which are:

Cui Codestone
Kew Codestone
Mag Codestone
Sho Codestone
Vux Codestone
Zed Codestone

Training Courses and Costs

The courses at the Secret Ninja Training School are divided based on your pet’s level, and each course has different costs and durations. The higher your pet’s level, the more codestones you’ll need to pay for training. Below is a breakdown of the levels, codestone costs, and duration of each course:

You can shorten these training durations by using a Training Fortune Cookie (5-day duration) or a Deluxe Training Fortune Cookie (10-day duration), which can reduce training time by 30-75%.

Stat Training Restrictions

At the Secret Ninja Training School, you can train five different statistics: Strength, Defence, Agility, Endurance, and Level. However, there are some restrictions on how much you can train. For example, you cannot train a stat beyond twice your pet’s level, except for Endurance (HP), which can be trained up to three times your pet’s level.

Additionally, if your Endurance stat exceeds twice your pet’s level, you won’t be able to train any stat other than Level or Endurance. Once your Endurance is no more than double your pet’s level, you’ll be able to resume training other stats.

Completing a Course and Stat Boosts

After completing a course, your pet will typically gain 1 point in the stat trained. However, there are occasional bonuses:

+2 points: 1/10 chance (10%)
+3 points: 1/100 chance (1%)
+4 points: 1/1000 chance (0.1%)
+5 points: 1/10,000 chance (0.01%)
+6 points: 1/100,000 chance (0.001%)

These bonuses are rare but exciting, adding an element of luck to your pet’s training.

The Secret Ninja Shop

There is also a small Secret Ninja Shop within the school where you can purchase useful battle items. You can only buy one item every 30 minutes, and the prices are usually higher than those in player-run shops. However, the items available are unique to the Secret Ninja Training School.

The Mysterious Statue

Lastly, inside the Secret Ninja Training School, there’s a mysterious statue. You can donate Neopoints to the statue in exchange for a Pearl of Wisdom. While there’s no known major effect of donating Neopoints to the statue, it’s a quirky feature of the training school that many players enjoy.
