Neopets Pet Display CSS (Show 5, 6, or 7 Pets on Userlookup) Without Scroll

If you want to display more pets on your Neopets userlookup, these simple CSS codes can help. By default, Neopets only shows up to 5 pets, and the fifth pet is often slightly cut off. The CSS snippets on this page let you easily adjust the layout so all pets display properly without scrolling.

This guide includes copy and paste CSS for showing 5 pets, 6 pets, or 7 pets on your userlookup. It removes the default pet scrolling and adjusts the spacing so every pet fits neatly on the page. No HTML or CSS experience is required. Just place the code at the beginning of your lookup code and it will automatically adjust your pet display.

Keep in mind that these codes are designed for the default Neopets lookup layout. If you are using a custom userlookup theme or have CSS that changes pet image sizes or the overall width of the page, you may need to make small adjustments for everything to line up correctly.

This page provides quick solutions for players who want a cleaner Neopets pet display, better userlookup customization, and a way to show more of their pets without the annoying scroll bar.

Very long petnames fix

If you happen to have one or more very long petnames and they end up overlapping, you can simply add the following line before the ‹/style› tag. It reduces the size of the petnames so that they don’t overlap.
If your petnames overlap but aren’t too long, you can try using 7.5pt instead of 7pt. If you have VERY long petnames and 7pt isn’t small enough, you can reduce the number to 6pt.

Battleground of the Obelisk Daily Predictions

Want to win a boon every two weeks? Going after the six available avatars? Don’t know which team you should pick? This page is for you!

To recap the basics, every two weeks, three of the six Obelisk teams compete for control of the Obelisk, which is the origin of its name. You must choose a team to battle against, and the team that performs best wins.

Since the winners for each round of battles are not decided randomly, it should be possible to predict the winners more often than by chance. Thanks to the archive at SunnyNeo, I have developed a model to forecast the winner in each round based on two factors that work quite well. These two factors are:

How often they win

As some teams are judged to give better boons than others, and thus are selected to win more often by the regular battlers, this is the simpler of the two factors to calculate. Take the number of times a team has won and divide it by the number of times they have battled. The Sway win roughly half of their battles, while the Thieves Guild wins about one in five battles. Anyone can achieve a decent win percentage by choosing the best of these teams each time, but that isn’t very interesting, especially if you’re not a fan of The Sway or want to earn all the avatars, and we can do much better. How? How long since they last won

Because there are avatar hunters who want every team to win, this factor has to be taken into account. I take the number of rounds since a team last won and calculate a median win round when I would expect this team to have won 50% of the time by that time, and put this number into a t-distribution to get a probability that the team would have won at some point between their last win and now. How do we use this data to predict winners?

The Model

Here’s the exciting part: I set the team that won most recently to 0, then I take a constant representing a minimum % chance of winning (about 5%), and add the two variables (after scaling them for prediction accuracy) listed above to get my model’s output. Then, once I know which three teams will be participating, I scale the outputs so that the sum of percentages adds to 100%. I’ll share the results that my model produces each week here.

This week’s predictions

Obelisk TeamLast WinWin %Prediction
Awakened5 rounds ago34%31%
Brute Squad2 rounds ago28%17%
The Sway9 rounds ago44%51%

FAQ

How do I interpret the table?

The first column displays the names of the Obelisk teams, the second column indicates the number of rounds since that team last won, and the third column shows the average frequency of wins for each team. The final, highlighted column contains my estimated predictions for the next battle.

Who should I battle with?

That’s a decision only you can make; whether you want to win more often, aim for avatars, or seek specific boons. I hope my model will help you make an informed choice and achieve the outcome you’re striving for.

The team you picked lost!

I can’t guarantee that my preferred team will win (If I could, I’d be using my talents to make money in the real world), but I believe that if you follow my advice, you’ll win more often than with any other publicly known strategy.

Why don’t the numbers in the prediction column add up to 100%?

The numbers are rounded to the nearest per cent.

I picked the winning team, but didn’t get a reward?

Did you remember to play ten battles? Don’t forget to do this, or you won’t win any rewards!

I do my ten battles every fortnight, but I keep losing. Why?

Wins are more helpful to your team than draws and losses; stronger opponents are worth more points than weaker ones; and every battle after the 10th helps your team get closer to victory. Keep up the battling!

Neopets TTRPG – The Controversy

To really do justice to a world as massive as Neopia, we have to look past the technical specs. For twenty-five years, Neopets has been a digital home for millions. We’ve fed our pets, stocked our shops, and spent way too much time staring at the Giant Omelette. But now, the Neopets TTRPG is taking that experience and putting it directly into your hands—no browser required.

Neopets TTRPG

This isn’t just a rulebook; it’s a toolkit for telling your own stories in a world that usually lives behind a screen.

What Exactly is the Neopets TTRPG?

If you’ve ever sat around a table with some snacks and a handful of dice, you know the magic of a tabletop roleplaying game. The Neopets TTRPG brings that same energy to Neopia. Think of it as a collaborative story. You and your friends play the heroes (or the troublemakers), and one person—the Game Master—sets the scene.

You aren’t just clicking buttons to earn Neopoints anymore. Now, you’re actually there. You’re the one trying to convince a cranky King Skarl to give you a prize, or you’re the one navigating the pitch-black tunnels of the Lost Desert. It’s interactive, it’s social, and yeah, it gets a little wild.

Familiar Bones, New Heart

We know a lot of you are veterans of games like Dungeons & Dragons. Because of that, we built the Neopets TTRPG on a foundation that feels familiar. We use a d20 (that’s a twenty-sided die, for the uninitiated) to handle most of the action.

If your Kougra wants to leap across a chasm in Tyrannia, you roll the die. Your stats—things like strength or agility—add a little boost to that roll. If the total is high enough, you stick the landing. If it’s low? Well, let’s hope you brought some healing potions.

But Neopia isn’t just about fighting monsters in a dungeon. It’s a world of fashion, food, and very strange magic. We’ve tweaked the rules to make sure the “vibe” feels right. For instance, you aren’t locked into a rigid class. In the Neopets TTRPG, you can be a master merchant who also happens to be a powerful “Dungmancer.” Your character grows based on what you do, not just a label you picked at the start.

Exploring the Lands of Neopia

One of the coolest parts of the Neopets TTRPG is finally getting to see the world of Neopia as a cohesive map. We’ve filled the Core Rules with lore for every major region.

  • Neopia Central: The bustling heart of the world. Great for shopping, but watch out for the Pant Devil.
  • The Haunted Woods: Spooky, damp, and full of things that go bump in the night. Perfect for a darker campaign.
  • Mystery Island: Sun, sand, and ancient puzzles. Just watch out for the Tiki Tack Man.
  • Krawk Island: If you want to play a pirate-themed adventure, this is your go-to spot. Keep your Dubloons close.

We’ve even included 55 different species to choose from. Whether you want to be a tiny, bouncing Jubjub or a massive, hungry Grarrl, the choice is yours. And because this is Neopets, customization is king. You can use Paintbrushes and potions to change your look—or even your species—mid-adventure.

The “Stuff” You’ll Need (and the Kickstarter)

We’re currently running a Kickstarter to bring the Neopets TTRPG to life. The star of the show is the Core Rules book. It’s an 8.5″ x 11″ beast of a book that contains everything: character creation, regional lore, lists of items, and even a “bestiary” of NPCs and villains you’ll encounter.

If you want more story right out of the gate, we also have The Fall of Faerieland. This is a separate campaign book that lets you play through one of the most iconic events in Neopets history. When the Faeries turn to stone and Faerieland starts falling from the sky, your party are the ones who have to step up and save the day.

A Quick Word on Shipping and BackerKit

We want to keep things as transparent as possible. When you back the Neopets TTRPG, you won’t pay for shipping right away. Why? Because we want to get it right. Once the campaign ends, we’ll use BackerKit to calculate the exact shipping cost based on where you live and how many add-ons (like those sparkly blue dice) you grabbed.

This way, you only pay what it actually costs to get the books to your door. No “guesstimating,” no hidden fees. Just clear, honest numbers.

Why This Project Matters to Us

We know there’s been some talk online about this project. Making a game for a community as passionate as this one is a huge responsibility. Our team at Geekify is made up of people who have been playing since the “pre-Flash” days. We have writers from Jellyneo and The Neopian Times on board. We aren’t just making a product; we’re making the game we wanted to play for the last two decades.

The Neopets TTRPG is a love letter to the fans. We’ve poured our hearts into the details—like making sure the crafting system feels like actual Neopian alchemy, or ensuring the Battledome mechanics feel strategic but accessible.

Join the Adventure

At the end of the day, a TTRPG is about one thing: having fun with your friends. Whether you’re a “knuckle-crackin’ veteran” of tabletop games or someone who has never touched a twenty-sided die in your life, there is a place for you here.

Neopia is a big, weird, wonderful place. It’s even better when you’re exploring it together.

Now onto the TTRPG Controversy 2026

If you’ve been scrolling through Reddit or checking Neopian news lately, you’ve probably noticed that things have gotten a bit bumpy. While the idea of a Neopets TTRPG should be all fun and nostalgia, a major “disaster” (as some fans are calling it) has unfolded behind the scenes.

If you’re confused about why everyone is suddenly talking about “standards” and official updates, here is the breakdown of what’s actually going on.

The Elephant in the Room: The Official Statement

Recently, the official Neopets team put out an update that sent shockwaves through the community. They essentially stated that the Neopets TTRPG being developed by Geekify doesn’t currently adhere to their brand standards.

In the world of licensing, that’s a pretty big deal. It’s like a parent telling the neighborhood that they aren’t quite sure about the lemonade their kid is selling out front. For backers who have already put their hard-earned money into the Kickstarter, this caused a lot of “wait, what?” moments.

Why the Community is Worried

If you look at threads on r/rpg or r/neopets, you’ll see words like “train wreck” and “unfolding disaster” being tossed around. Why so much heat? It usually boils down to three things:

  1. Brand Alignment: Fans are worried that the game won’t feel like the Neopets they know and love if the creators and the brand owners aren’t on the same page.
  2. Quality Control: When a brand says something doesn’t meet “standards,” it makes people worry about the final product. Will the art be right? Will the lore be accurate?
  3. The “D&D” of it All: Some tabletop veterans felt the initial rules were a bit too much like a “reskinned” version of Dungeons & Dragons rather than a unique system that truly captures the wacky, non-violent, or economic parts of Neopia.

Geekify’s Side of the Story

Now, it’s worth noting that the team at Geekify isn’t just some random group. These are people who have worked on Neopets projects before, like the Tarot decks. They’ve brought in writers from Jellyneo (the unofficial kings of Neopets lore) to try and make this as authentic as possible.

The struggle is that making a Neopets TTRPG is like trying to bottle lightning. You have 25 years of history, 55 species, and a massive, vocal fanbase. There are bound to be growing pains when you’re trying to turn a point-and-click browser game into a complex tabletop system.

What Should You Do if You’re a Backer?

First off, don’t panic. Development on big projects like the Neopets TTRPG often hits roadblocks. It’s common for brands and creators to have “creative differences” during the process.

However, transparency is key. We want the reader to know that we’re listening. If you’re feeling uneasy, keep a close eye on the official Neopets portal and the Kickstarter update page. The community is being very vocal right now, and that’s actually a good thing—it forces the people in charge to make sure the final book is something we can all be proud to have on our shelves.

The Bottom Line

We’re all fans here. We want to see a Neopets TTRPG that lets us visit Krawk Island and fight the Pant Devil without it feeling like a generic fantasy game. While the current controversy is definitely a “negative random event” in our quest, we’re hopeful that the feedback from the community and the brand will lead to a better, more polished game in the end.

After all, if we can survive the Fall of Faerieland, we can survive a little bit of development drama, right?

The 200 Million NP Gamble: Retired Smuggler’s Cove Mystery Capsule Arrives

A massive update hit the Hidden Tower on January 16, 2026, as Queen Fyora introduced one of the most expensive items in Neopian history. The Retired Smuggler’s Cove Mystery Capsule is now available for purchase, offering players a chance to own legendary pirate treasures that have been out of circulation for nearly two decades.

Retired Smuggler’s Cove Mystery Capsule

This release serves as a major gold sink for the economy, targeting the wealthiest players and avatar hunters. If you are considering spending your life savings on a single click, here is the breakdown of what you can expect.

Key Details: Price and Restrictions

Buying this capsule is not as simple as visiting the Trading Post. Because it is a Hidden Tower item, it comes with strict account-bound rules.

  • Retail Price: 200,000,000 NP
  • Purchasing: You must buy it directly from the Hidden Tower in Faerieland.
  • Trading: The capsule is non-tradable. You cannot sell it to other users or buy it from a shop.
  • Strategic Saving: If you have a 10% discount from a Random Event, you can lower the price to 180 million NP.

Retired Smuggler’s Cove Mystery Capsule “Ahoy!” Avatar

The biggest draw for many users is the brand-new avatar called Ahoy!. Unlike previous mystery capsules that forced players to buy multiple items to unlock rewards, this avatar is awarded upon opening your very first capsule. Even if the item inside is a disappointment, the avatar remains a permanent addition to your collection.

Retired Smuggler’s Cove Mystery Capsule Avatar

Potential Rewards: High Risks and Massive Rewards

The capsule contains one random item originally released through the Smuggler’s Cove. Because Cove items were originally limited to very small quantities, this is the first time in years that many of these artifacts have entered the market.

Early reports from the community show a massive gap between the “winners” and “losers” of this RNG gamble:

  • The Big Wins: Lucky players have already pulled elite Battledome weapons like the Attack Pea, Hammer of Death, and Mystical Teapot of Doom.
  • The Breakeven: Items like the Cake Bomb or Aubergine Mace are solid pulls but may not always cover the 200 million NP entry fee depending on market shifts.
  • The Losses: Some players have spent their fortune only to receive low-tier items such as the Kougra Brush or Earwax Chia.

Correcting the Estimated Value Glitch

There is a known visual bug when you open the capsule. The item you receive might initially show an “Estimated Value” of 200,000,000 NP. To see the actual rarity data, simply move the item into your Safety Deposit Box or your shop and then return it to your inventory. This refreshes the item data and shows its true status.

Community Reaction: Is It Worth It?

The Neopian community is currently split on this update. On one hand, players are happy to see an NP sink that removes hundreds of millions of Neopoints from the economy to help fight inflation. It also provides a way to get rare items without having to compete with automated bots in the actual Smuggler’s Cove.

On the other hand, many long term players feel the 200 million NP price tag is inaccessible. With much of the loot pool consisting of outdated weapons that have not been balanced for modern Battledome play, many are calling for a “buff” to older Cove items to make the gamble feel more fair.

Trendsetter Mystery Capsule IV – Neocash Freebie!

Released on January 12, 2026, the Trendsetter Mystery Capsule IV is the fourth installment of the exclusive reward series for Neocash (NC) purchases. Unlike standard capsules, these cannot be bought directly with NC; they are strictly bonus rewards for purchasing NC credit through the Neopets site.

Trendsetter Mystery Capsule IV

How to Obtain

These capsules are automatically added to your inventory when you purchase NC in specific increments from the Neopets website:

Purchase AmountRewards Received
$20.001 Trendsetter Capsule IV + 2 Trendsetter Gift Boxes + 2 Basic Gift Boxes
$50.002 Trendsetter Capsule IV + 3 Trendsetter Gift Boxes + 2 Basic Gift Boxes
$100.003 Trendsetter Capsule IV + 4 Trendsetter Gift Boxes + 4 Basic Gift Boxes

PRO TIP: If you only care about the capsules, buying $20 increments multiple times is technically more efficient for capsule quantity, though you miss out on the bulk NC bonuses provided at the $50 and $100 levels.

Trendsetter Mystery Capsule IV Contents

Each capsule awards one exclusive wearable from the pool below, with a chance at a Limited Edition (LE) bonus item.

Regular Exclusive Items

Quick Strategy

  • Check Availability: These capsules typically remain active for 2 to 4 months before being replaced by the next version (Trendsetter V).

  • Opening: To open, go to your Inventory, toggle the “NC” view at the top right, and click on the capsule.

Neopets x Gong Cha Event Information

Neopets is expanding its real-world presence once again! On January 5, 2026, Neopets announced its third major boba partnership, this time teaming up with the international tea powerhouse Gong cha. Whether you’re a die-hard Aisha fan or a collector of rare virtual items, this collaboration has something for everyone across the USA and Canada.

When does the Neopets Gong cha collaboration start?

The full collaboration, including specialized drinks and merchandise, will be available at all participating USA and Canada locations from February 10 through March 9, 2026.

Before the wide release, three exclusive kickoff events will take place during the first week of February. If you’re looking to attend a kickoff, you’ll need to act fast—tickets for the 75-person public slots were claimed almost immediately, though hopeful fans are encouraged to check the event pages for cancellations using the code NEOPETSGCVIP.

What are the Neopets Gong cha drink flavors?

The menu features four custom-crafted drinks inspired by iconic Neopets characters:

  • Shoyru: Cotton Candy Dream – A sweet, cloud-like treat inspired by the whimsy of Faerieland.
  • Aisha: Classic Pearl Milk Tea – A timeless, perfectly brewed staple for boba purists.
  • Kacheek: Mango Green Tea Glow – A bright, tropical, and refreshing green tea.
  • Bruce: Strawberry Milk Tea – A creamy, cool selection that carries the Snow Faerie’s seal of approval.

Neopets Gong cha locations: Is there one near me?

Unlike previous collaborations that were limited to specific regions like Northern California, this partnership covers all Gong cha locations in the USA and Canada.

Kickoff Event Details:

CityDateTimeLocation
ChicagoFeb 44:00 – 6:30pm CST555 S State St
TorontoFeb 54:00 – 6:30pm EST5449 Yonge St
New York CityFeb 54:00 – 6:30pm EST925 Lexington Ave

Note: A San Jose event is also listed on Eventbrite, but it is restricted to press and media only.

How do I get Neopets Gong cha merch and Rare Item Codes?

The most anticipated part of this collab is the merchandise line, specifically the blind-box plush keychains.

  • Rare Item Codes: Some merchandise includes rare item codes (RICs) that can be redeemed on Neopets.com for exclusive virtual items.
  • The Fine Print: There has been some community confusion regarding the codes. While the keychains are expected to include them, some promotional items (like stickers or cards) may only offer codes by chance, rather than as a guarantee.
  • Social Media Requirements: Some locations may require fans to follow Neopets and Gong cha on Instagram to receive certain “freebies” like stickers or cards with their purchase.

Neopets Gong cha reddit and community reactions

The community response has been a mix of high excitement and “restock anxiety.” While fans are thrilled that the collaboration has finally reached Canada and a wider variety of US states, many are worried about:

  • Resellers: Concerns are high that “scalpers” will buy out the blind-box keychains to sell at inflated prices on the trading post or eBay.
  • Blind Boxes: Some users expressed frustration at the blind-box format, wishing they could simply purchase their favorite pet directly.
  • Regional Availability: Despite the broad reach, fans in Australia, Japan, and Europe have voiced their disappointment that their local Gong cha branches are not currently participating in the event.

Pro-Tip: If you’re planning to go, fans recommend calling your local Gong cha ahead of time on February 10th to ensure they have received their shipment of Neopets-branded cups and keychains!

Ancient Hourglass – Rare Advent Calendar Prize!

Today marks a historic moment in Neopia. As the final prize of the 2025 Neopets Advent Calendar, the legendary Ancient Hourglass has been distributed to every active player. Once an exceedingly rare artifact from the Smuggler’s Cove, its sudden re-emergence has sparked massive debate across the Neoboards.

Ancient Hourglass

The New Year’s Eve Surprise from the Advent Calender : Dec 31, 2025

For years, the Ancient Hourglass was a “mythical” item. Originally released at the Smuggler’s Cove for 500 Dubloons, it was retired quickly and became a prize only the wealthiest collectors could afford.

By awarding it on December 31, 2025, TNT has effectively “deflated” one of the rarest items in the game. This follows a recent trend of making historical Battledome items accessible to the general public, ensuring that newer players can experience Neopet history without needing hundreds of millions of Neopoints.

Ancient Hourglass Frequently Asked Questions

As players pull this item from their stockings, certain questions have begun trending on search engines and fansites:

  • “Is it a 100% freezer?” Historically, no. Most data suggests it has a random chance to freeze. The flavor text—“When the last grain of sand falls…”—implies the freeze is not instantaneous or guaranteed every turn.
  • “What does Semi-Fragile mean?” In Neopets terminology, this usually means the item has a chance to disappear forever upon use. However, some items labeled “Semi-Fragile” simply break for the duration of the current battle. Exercise extreme caution until the community confirms if this specific version is permanent.
  • “Can I equip two?” No. Like all freezing items (Sleep Ray, Freezing Potion), you are limited to one freezer per pet.

Neopets Battledome Stats & Abilities

The Ancient Hourglass is a product of an older era of the Battledome, where “dual-duty” items (items that attack and perform a secondary function) were rare and highly valued.

StatisticDetails
Attack5 Earth Icons
Primary EffectChance to Freeze the opponent for one turn
UsageOnce per battle (Limited Use)
Rarityr101 (Special/Retired)
Equip LimitOne freezing item per pet

Tactical Analysis

While 5 Earth icons might have been impressive in the early 2000s, it is virtually non-existent in today’s “power creep” meta. For comparison:

  • Sleep Ray: 100% Freeze, 0 Icons.
  • Ancient Hourglass: ~Unknown Chance Freeze, 5 Icons.
  • Moehog Skull: 100% Freeze, 15 Icons.

Because the freeze is not guaranteed, most competitive battlers rank this as a 1/10 in terms of utility. It is often outperformed by cheaper, 100% reliable freezers like the Random Firing Freeze Ray or the Sleep Ray.

Verdict: Gallery or Battle?

Unless you are a beginner with no other freezing items, the Ancient Hourglass is best served as a centerpiece for a Gallery. Its history as a Smuggler’s Cove item and its beautiful, classic artwork make it a prestigious item to display, even if its combat effectiveness has faded with time.

The Internet Just Peaked: Neopets and Habbo Hotel Are Finally Collaborating

If you needed proof that the simulation is glitching—or perhaps, finally healing—this is it.

We are currently living through the strangest, most specific timeline of internet history. While the rest of the tech world is arguing about AI hallucinations and brain chips, two titans of the early 2000s dial-up era, Neopets and Habbo Hotel, have looked at each other from across the digital bar and said, “You know what? Let’s cause chaos.”

Neopets Habbo

As of last month, the Neopets x Habbo collaboration is officially live, and it is arguably the most culturally significant event to happen to my inner child since I finally learned how to beat the Ice Caves in Hannah and the Pirate Caves.

Here is everything happening in the pixelated trenches, and why your group chat is suddenly dusting off 20-year-old login credentials.

The “Pool’s Closed” Era is Over (Sort of)

First, you need context. If you haven’t been paying attention to the renaissance of “dead” internet games, you missed the launch of Habbo Hotel: Origins back in 2024.

The developers realized something crucial: The kids who played Habbo in 2005 are now 30-somethings with anxiety and disposable income. So, they launched a version of the game that is strictly 18+.

No, not that kind of 18+. It’s the original 2005 client—clunky UI, zero censorship, and an economy run entirely on nostalgia and rare furniture trading. It’s a digital dive bar for people who remember what a floppy disk looks like.

The Crossover We Didn’t Deserve

Then came Neopets. After freeing themselves from corporate purgatory and ditching those questionable NFT plans last year, the new “World of Neopia” leadership decided to go full fan-service.

The result? As of November 2025, you can now own Neopets inside Habbo Hotel.

We aren’t talking about cheap knock-offs. We are talking actual, pixel-perfect Aishas, Kougras, and Shoyrus following your Habbo avatar around like the faithful companions they were always meant to be.

The collaboration has unleashed a very specific type of market madness:

  • The Economy is Wild: People are trading literal “thrones” (the ultimate status symbol of 2005) for rare Neopets eggs.
  • Fyora is Everywhere: You can dress your avatar in Queen Fyora’s accessories. I saw someone in a public room yesterday wearing a Faerie Queen outfit while arguing about mortgage rates. It was surreal.
  • The Nostalgia loop: You play Neopets to get Habbo items, and play Habbo to get Neopets items. It is a perfect, diabolical circle designed to ensure we never get any actual work done.

Why This Matters (Beyond the Memes)

There is something genuinely touching about this. For years, we watched our favorite sites die slow deaths by “modernization.” They tried to become mobile apps, they tried to add 3D graphics, they tried to be cool.

But this 2025 revival proves that we didn’t want cool. We wanted home.

We wanted the crunchy sound of a pixelated apple being eaten. We wanted the stress of the Neopian stock market. We wanted to stand in a Habbo hallway and type “Bobba” when we got censored.

This collaboration isn’t just a cash grab; it’s a victory lap for the preservation of internet culture. It’s two ancient platforms acknowledging that they survived the social media apocalypse by simply staying true to what they were: weird, wonderful, and slightly broken places to hang out.

The Verdict

If you haven’t logged in yet, do it. The Neopets x Habbo event is still running through the holidays.

Go adopt a pixelated Shoyru. Go sit on a Habbo Club sofa. Pretend, for just one hour, that your biggest problem is earning enough Neopoints to buy a Paint Brush, and not the looming existential dread of adulthood.

We are so back.

Neopets Companion App – What We’ve Been Waiting For Is Finally Real

If you’ve been trying to feed your Kacheek or spin the Wheel of Monotony on a mobile browser for the last few years, you know the struggle. The pinch-to-zoom life is hard. But it looks like The Neopets Team (TNT) is finally throwing us a bone.

Neopets Companion App

After months of rumors and vague “coming soon” promises, the official Neopets: Companion App has quietly dropped into soft launch.

Here is everything we know about the app that might finally bring Neopia into the modern era.

The Soft Launch: Who Gets the Companion App First?

As is tradition with gaming rollouts, our friends down under are the test subjects. TNT confirmed that the soft launch kicked off the week of November 16th, specifically for Australia and New Zealand.

If you are in that region, you can head to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store right now and download it. For the rest of us, we are stuck in the “wider rollout planned” waiting room. No specific dates yet for a global release, but if the ANZ test goes well without crashing the servers, hopefully, we won’t be waiting long.

What Does the Neopets Companion App Actually Do?

The most important thing about this app is what it isn’t. It isn’t a match-3 spin-off or a separate island-building game. It connects directly to your main Neopets.com account via NeoPass.

Based on the store listings and TNT’s announcement, here is what you can do from your phone:

  • Inventory Management: You can finally check your inventory without the site layout breaking.
  • Pet Care: Feeding and caring for your pets is streamlined. No more navigating five different pages just to make sure your Neopet isn’t “dying” of hunger.
  • The Dailies: You can spin three of the classic wheels. This is huge for keeping streaks alive when you’re away from a computer.
  • Games: They are porting over classic mini-games. Fashion Fever is confirmed (which is basically free NP), along with something called Solitaire 2.0.

Why This Matters

For years, the community has just wanted a way to do their “dailies” efficiently on mobile. The mobile-friendly site update (beta) has been… let’s be polite and say “divisive.”

A dedicated, lightweight app that syncs scores and items directly to the main site is exactly what the doctor ordered. The previews on the Play Store look clean and modern, suggesting this isn’t just a web-wrapper but a properly built interface.

What’s Next?

Right now, we wait for the ANZ players to find the bugs. If you are in Australia or New Zealand, give it a download and let us know: does Fashion Fever still take 10 seconds to get max points?

For everyone else, keep an eye on the app stores. If this rollout goes smoothly, managing your Neopets empire from the bus is about to get a whole lot easier.
